1800s Enamel Opera Glasses Binoculars Sportier Paris Jockey Sports GlassesHere's a great pair of cream white enamel Sportier Paris opera glasses from the late 1800's. They measure approximately 4 inches across the base, and when fully extended are 3 1 4 inches in height. The lenses are clear and the fly wheel has a smooth action. The pretty creamy white enamel is in excellent condition with no chips, crazy or discoloration. It's rare to find a pair that is in such superb condition. A wonderful pair of fully functional

but no serious damage

and has silver trim with a gold starburst pattern

as well as "Norida Perfumerie" below the mirror

The only issue we found is a few small chips out of the white mother of pearl eye piece surrounds

It is hallmarked with "Evening In Paris"

with only slight tarnish

with only a slight outline of a circle from the powder puff on the inside mirror

No issues with the lenses themselves

that is almost reminiscent of tiny spirata seashells

but nothing that detracts from this fantastic piece
