Mountain Man - Colors of SimbuThe very first installation of the Mountain Man Series of works. For the very first time, this piece was created using colours, in what would be a black and white signature Grim Jordan approach, I decided to push the bounderies and express myself freely, as I would think a mountain would. Inspired by the forever awe stricking Simbu Bilas, this series is the brother version of the Mountain Meri series of works where I will be using a lot of colours and

a reminder that not every journey needs a fixed destination

This artwork is a tribute to the Lakatoi and the immense amount of labour and craftsmanship that goes into making this vessel

It's a nod to the people there and the debt we owe to them

'Was Meri' translates to 'watch woman

Her body is adorned with shells
