I apply 3 5 sprays in their wet hair, then blow dry their hair with zero tension. Once the hair is dry, I spray 1 2 more times and brush until it dries into the hair. You wont find this product sticky if you apply it to wet hair; once you use it to dry hair, you will feel some grittiness but never a harsh sticky
