Gyotaku of John DoryThis is a large John Dory gifted to me some time ago. Here I've used a high quality acrylic ink which is both light fast and permanent. The paper is Chinese Xuan paper and is around 70cm x 35cm. In fact my fish come from various sources but are not caught by me as Im a pretty hopeless fisherman! The Dory came from Brixham in Devon and was sent to me with other fish as by product of fish processing. The print has been backed with two sheets of Japanese
