There is a machined hidden hook keeper under the bottom lip of the cork handle. The rod has white alignment dots for easy set up. The rod had a fast action for pinpoint accuracy. Original rod bag, Cordura rod tube, and blank warranty card come with the rod. Redington has a lifetime warranty
