19th century Oil on canvas painting of tropical birdsThis is a spectacular oil on canvas painting of tropical birds. I believe Italian in origin and dates to the late 19th early 20th century, The vibrant colours of the birds matched with the subtle background make this hugely decorative and it will sit well in a huge number of interiors. Clean condition with no damage but the canvas has been backed for its protection. No signature but true quality with a great amount of details in the brush strokes.

Stands on stained beech squat tapered legs which are very elegant complete with original brass casters

Label with property of Kinnaird castle is on the back right leg as you look at it

This example is a smaller sized mirror but with a high quality deep frame

Currently in an embroidered seat but we can re upholster for a small additional charge if you prefer
