Georgian period Bergere library chairThis is a fabulous quality Georgian period bergere library chair with wonderful reeded details to the frame. Standing on tall turned legs with elegant arm supports. Lovely proportions and in very nice original condition. Even down to the brass casters and the cushions. Traces of old worm but all treated and no longer active. Height 98cm Width 64cm Depth 75cm Depth of seat 47cm Height of seat 45cm

Each one framed in a burr walnut frame which really gives these a country quality that I love

Large size and ideal left as is or a fruit bowl for a dining table

Very comfy with deep seat and new feather seat cushions

The frame is a very heavy metal with original worn paint

It is a good seat height so could be used as a desk chair as well

In nice original condition with patina and wear that adds so much to it

It has a particularly haunting look not just down to the subject but with the quality of the way it has been done
