Dingley Fly Reel 2 3/4" - Telephone Latch - Westley RichardsFor sale here is a scarce Dingley fly reel with telephone latch, made for Westley Richards 2 3 4" diameter. The frame has an area that's been dinged up a bit but this area is solid with no surrounding cracks whatsoever. Foot is full length at 2. 3" and unfiled but has a slight kink in one end, but this doesn't prevent it from fitting nicely on a rod. Ivorine handle spins freely. Stamped D4 with four dots on cog. Fixed check is adequately strong. Reel

this is one of the harder to acquire models

so the third one appears to have been added at a later date

The cigar grip is 6 1/2" in length with only light handling marks

Cortland fly lines and Scientific Angler fly lines

It's very hard to find these reels in unused condition
