17th century Italian 6 legged console tableThis is a beautiful piece of Italian furniture. The base is late 18th early 19th century with elements of restoration but all very well done. This supports an incredible 17th Century if not earlier top, which I believe is walnut but is hard to tell. The patina and wear is stunning and has a wonderful tactile smooth finish with dimples and clear signs of heavy use that only adds to the decorative merit of the piece.
