Lot 001 - Antique Art Nouveau 14k Yellow Gold Lorgnette Folding Glasses with Three Diamonds and Grotesque Devil Face on Handle, 4-5/8" L, Total Weight 37.69 gAntique Art Nouveau 14K yellow gold lorgnette with spring open folding eyeglasses. The handle features repousse decoration with a wreath and ribbon cartouche surrounding a central shield set with three diamonds, and a grotesque horned face at the junction of the handle and frame housing. The handle terminates in an oval finial with a ring for chain attachment. Marked 14K. Both the handle and eyeglass frames were tested for 14K gold and pass.
