Hardy Prince Fly Reel with Spare SpoolA nice Hardy Prince 7 8 fly reel and additional spare spool. Near mint condition with mounting marks on the foot being the only sign of any use. I could find no other indication that it's ever been fished. Reversible line guard and can be fished RHW or LHW. Comes with the original Hardy case, box, and papers while the spool comes in the original box with tissue wrapping.

The rod data is inked on the butt including the serial number "16429"

Serial number DV5268 made in 1981

The cigar grip length is 4 7/8" with 1/2" rings

The satchel is made from Herman Oak leather

The reel is stamped "The Kosmic Reel"

The cigar-style grip is made entirely of a gorgeous piece of bird's eye maple 6" in length with a nickel silver check at the bottom

but clean overall
