The Seasons After Robert Pyle A Group Of 18th.Century Reverse Printed Mezzotints On Glass Circa. 1760Richard Houston after Robert Pyle (active 1760 1768). A group of three hand coloured mezzotint engravings, reverse printed on glass. Summer, Autumn and Winter. Two retain their original sanded slip fruitwood frames. Summer and Autumn 37 by 47 cms. Overall framed. Winter which is later framed measures 32. 3 by 42 cms. Published by Carington Bowles, next the Chapter House in St Paul's Church Yard London. Rare survivors in good condition.
