Antique Victorian Bookmarks Rare Collectible PairThis is a very rare set of early 1900's Victorian bookmarks. They feature two different silhouettes; one of a woman playing a string instrument and one of a man with a sled. Both bookmarks are in very good condition, with only very light abrasions. The compact measures approximately 2 3/4 inches in length by 2 1/2 inches in width

and is about 1/2 inch in height

The detailing on the interior is also stunning

This is a super cute Lefton China hand painted frog playing a saxophone

It has a center cartouche on the lid that is engraved with the initials "SCL"

The interior has a leather change purse with snap closure

with only very slight age wear

The purse opens on two sides

just push in the tab where the chain connects to the compact and it pops open

The famous bee hallmark is also on the underside of the central bridge
