Hardy Featherweight Fly ReelA Hardy Featherweight fly reel, 2 7 8" diameter and set up for RHW (but easily convertible). Made in England. The reel appears to be unfished. Two screw latch plate with a reversible single screw nickel silver line guard. Nice smooth click drag. Designed to hold a DT4+40 or DT5+15. No bag.

Nicely oxidized hardware components with a little mark or two on the bottom of the butt cap

The drag is rather interestingly controlled underneath the handle by way of a small integrated adjustable knob that exerts pressure on the spool

Unaltered ribbed brass foot and MKII check

The rod has brown silk wraps with red edges and a perfection stripper

2-tip and listed as serial #2144

The stripping guide wraps have become brittle and torn so a re-wrap is needed

Finished in a Type II grey nickel with silver accents

AAA grade cork with multi composite cork in wear points
