A Maxwell period rod with the amber seat color, tiny nodes, and the pewter colored ferrule oxidation. Mint uncast condition. Medium fast dry fly action. Flamed cane with small pressed nodes in a three up configuration. Superb varnish. The wraps are a plum color with a purple and red edge at the keeper, male

and a cap and ring reel seat over a stunning African Blackwood spacer
An oxidized nickel silver rear cork check divides the 1/4" cork ring reel seat
