Sage 505L Fly Reel with Spare Spool [SALE PENDING]A very nice Sage 505L fly reel with a spare, set up for RHW. This reel was made exclusively for Sage by Hardy Brothers of England. This is the Sage equivalent of the Hardy St. John or JLH and Sage had them add a palming rim. Good used condition with some loss of finish on the frame edge in a few spots and some mounting marks on the foot, but the wear is cosmetic. No major defects and the reel functions perfectly. The spare spool shows very light

The finish is minimalist and I would say that it is neither shiny nor matte

This rod has been built on the taper called Looptracks

There is a bit of light wear to the bluing on the rim of the butt cap

All sections are full length and I see no damage to the cane anywhere
