Anglesey Sea Bass Diptych Gyotaku PrintThis bass was caught on a line by a local fisherman here in North Wales. It was caught on the Menai Stait. Bass are my favourite fish to print, the definition you get on the scales is wonderful. This diptych is printed on Chinese mulberry paper. I've used a high quality acrylic ink. Printing is just the first part of the process. After printing, the paper is cockled and wouldnt lay flat. My first step is to flatten the print using a technique called

The print will be sent out in an A4 mount ready for framing

It will be wrapped in acid free tissue paper and sent in a poster tube ready for framing and mounting

I have used premium quality black acrylic ink

The result is a thicker

Now I leave my print to dry out overnight

I've printed this on an A4 sheet of Chinese calligraphy paper using green and gold ink

the paper has become wrinkled

This print is A3 in size so could be framed in an off the shelf frame if desired
