Bogdan Trout ReelA nice Bogdan trout reel, 3 1 4" in diameter with the narrower 3 4" spool width and set up for RHW. Weighs 5 ounces. Excellent used condition with some rim rash on the frame edge in the "resting place" for RHW along with a small nick, but very clean otherwise. Light champagne anodized frame and spool, with a silver anodized foot, serpentine handle, oil cap, and Bogdan nameplate. Black anodized sideplates. The spool and sideplate on the cranking side

All original Paynes like this are scarcer and scarcer

Comes with black Hardy block leather case

with the only exception being that the waisted foot has some bending at either end (I suspect that it could be bent back in careful hands)

The longer mid section female ferrule doesn't provide the same perfect fit as the shorter mid section
