Eden Cane / Bernard Ramanauskas Bamboo Fly Rod 7'6" 2/2 #4An Eden Cane (Bernard Ramanauskas) bamboo fly rod, 7'6", 2 piece, 2 tip, and built for a #4 line. Serial #4764. The rod weighs 3. 4 ounces on my scale. Very light use (perhaps only lawn cast) with just the tiniest hint of tanning to the grip. Nodeless design with scarf joints where the nodes were. Medium to slow action. Very nice varnish with clear main wraps with a tiny band of red in the middle. Agate stripper and black nickel snake guides. Brown

but it is relatively minor

The polished ferrules are swiss with a collar on the males

Appears to be the original smooth brass foot

Given the nice size of this model and the power of the Zwarg drag (which was beefier than Vom Hofes) this is a reel that makes the jump very nicely to modern fishing and should fish very well for someone looking to put a classic on their mid-sized spey setup

One small chip/crack in the agate line guide

The only 3 weight reel you would ever need

The rod is in original lightly used condition with no major issues that I could find

The butt is flamed and has heavily mottling and constructed in a semi-spiral node pattern
